please remove the black line on classic solitaire that suggests to hit the escape button to remove.

Reply from Rick: I can't... that's just something Flash shows when it goes to full screen.

Reply from Rick: You can click 'Undo' if you want to move the card back. Also there is a version without Auto Complete available.

Can you add a mute to 40 Thieves so that when I play I can listen to music without the clicks?

Reply from Rick: I'm sorry it doesn't have mute... 40 Thieves is lower on my list of games that I need to update, because it doesn't get a whole lot of play at the moment. I'm not sure exactly when I'll get a chance to update it.

    Thanks for the suggestion,

I play your classic solitaire (thank you) and my best score is 132 seconds. It would be nice to know the best time score of everyone that plays it. Do you have the ability at your end to see who is scoring what?...... ......... or would someone like me have to e you ..... ......... guess one would have to design a system as one (person) couldn't possibility score the world. Anyone else email you with this question? thanks for all your hard work! Debbie S. New York

Reply from Rick: Right now I don't track the high scores, but people do frequently post their scores via "suggest improvements". Whenever someone does on one of my sites I put it up on the site.

    Hope that helps, :-)

    remove the unwanted music

Reply from Rick: The game doesn't have a sound track so I'm not sure what music you're referring to. Are you sure the music is coming from the game? Maybe you have another tab open in your browser.

Rick, Mom has been hounding me to find a Klondike based Solitaire game that my grandfather played. Using a c# solitaire library and Silverlight, I've created a game she believes is similar to the my grandfather played, but she's not 100% sure she remembers it fully. It seems to lay out like Yukon, and I'm trying to figure out the games name. For now, lets just call my grandfathers game as game X. Yukon lays out in 7 columns, just like game X. Yukon has multiple visible cards in many columns, just like X. However, Yukon has the following setup: Hidden 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 Visible 1 5 5 5 5 5 5 And Game X (with 3 cards left over): Hidden 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 Visible 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Also for game X, one can only play a top the same suit. Does this sound even remotely similar to any solitaire game you know of?

Reply from Rick: Sorry... doesn't sound familiar. You might want to look through the list of solitaire games they have on Wikipedia. He might be able to identify it if he sees the name.

After playing solitare awhile one of rows becomes very unstable & can't move any of cards. Also would lovesomeway to show total wins, etc.

Reply from Rick: If the game ever becomes unstable, you can fix it by hitting the browser refresh button.

Thanks for letting me know, :-)

How do I stop the pop up screen that comes up every 5 few seconds which says loop, zoom in, zoom out etc... Thanks and love your game.

Reply from Rick: My best guess is that somehow you're accidentally right clicking the screen... what you're describing sounds like the Flash right click pop up menu. It should not normally be popping up on you like that. If you don't think you're accidentally right clicking, you might want to try a different browser and see if you're still having the problem. It's also possible there is something wrong with your mouse.

If you Right click, do you see the same menu pop up when you do?

    Thanks,
    Rick

Hi, How do I stop the pop up window (zoom in, out, loop, back, rewind, settings, global settings etc)which comes on about every 10 seconds while I'm playing the game? Thanks!

Reply from Rick: Are you accidentally right clicking your screen while playing? What you're describing sounds like the right click menu.

    Hope that helps,

Love your sites, but wondering if you have or will create an app for Apple, since Flash isn't used on their OS.

Add a score if there is a win so you are not just competing for the best time. Is there any way to reset the best time?

Reply from Rick: The only way to reset the time is to clear all your cookies from your browser, but this will clear all your best times, not just a single game.

It would be nice to have that feature.

    Thanks for the suggestion, :-)

MSN used to have solitaire for two people to play real time. Their used to be solitaire.com but they stopped their web site for some reason. So we are still looking for a solitaire game that two people can play together. One on one side and the other person on the other side with the aces in the middle. If you can make something like that we would be really interested. Thank you for your time. Sharon

    Reply from Rick: Hi Sharon,

How was the game scored? Were you competing against the other player, or was it cooperative?

make it so one can restart the same game if one wants

Reply from Rick: Resetting the same hand at the beginning has been requested a few times. Right now you just have to hit Undo until you get back to the beginning... I know it's tedious, but it's all you can do until I get a chance to make some updates. I'm running out of screen space to put new buttons, so I'm going to need some kind of pause menu.

    Thanks for the suggestion, :-)

  • Bob Ohara - 2013-06-19 16:25:09

your instructions for the absolute old novice are not so clear? But I like the game very much, just don't like facebook, seems they lose me all the time. sorry I couldn't bring myself to like you on facebook. can't think of a better way to relax while cleaning cages. :-)

Reply from Rick: You don't have to like me on FB if you don't want to. I just appreciate it if you can. :-)

I apologize I don't have better instructions. If you have questions please post them. I'm not always good at putting myself in the mind of a beginner. However, I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

    Thanks for playing, :-)

I'm an idiot. I don't know how to find the Flash thing. I did a "Search" for Flash, but nothing came up.

Sorry to be so long getting back to you. I've been trying to get the cards to "hang" again, but nothing so far. The processor on the Toshiba is an AMD A6-3400M APU w/Radeon HD Grap;hics 1.40 Gz; the RAM is 6.00 GB (5.48 usable). I did a "Search" and could not find any Flash... Hope this helps.

Reply from Rick: Have you upgraded your flash version since then? If so it's possible that upgrading fixed the problem.

The "Hanging Thing" just did it again. This time, I clicked "Undo" and it moved to the left of the deck to be dealt. Never came back into the Ace place it was supposed to be. Weird....

I'm using a Toshiba and a home-made one. The home-made is about 4 years old and the Toshiba a little over a year. I don't have that problem on either one except on Solitaire and Pyramid. Thanks!

  • Hanging C - 2013-05-19 09:35:09

I use a Toshiba and a home-made one. I'll try your suggestion with the Undo - that sounds like it might be a cure on the hanging. Thanks for your quick response. I really enjoy your games.

Reply from Rick: Thanks for responding... can you provide me with a few specs on your Toshiba? Ram, Processor, and Flash version number?

Also, you might want to make sure you have the newest version of the Adobe Flash Player. In the older version you had to turn on hardware acceleration in your flash player... I don't think you need to do that in the latest version.

Thanks for letting me know, :-)

I am having the same trouble as "Ace of Hearts" below. Cards from the Ace stack will "stack" on the discard pile and don't wnt to move. Further, the cursor moves sluggishly (perhaps related to above). I thought it was my computer at first, but it has done it to me on different computers. Thanks. I enjoy your games very much.

Reply from Rick: If a card moves and you didn't want it to, click the 'Undo' button. The card will then move back. The other thing you might want to try is the No Auto Complete version.

As for the mouse moving sluggishly... I haven't seen that. What kind of computer are you using?

    Thanks,
    Rick
